And the winner is..

So exciting!
Last night I went to an awards ceremony for my industry at the Carlu (which is totallly gorgeous and would've made a nice place for a wedding reception - we did consider it briefly). Anyway, it's so exciting because we won!! In the Brand Loyalty category, we won GOLD, baby!

Guess who got to go on stage to help pick up the award? My creative team, my clients and ME! It was for the program I worked on last summer. YAY!

I had such a great time last night! As you can imagine, we were all in the mood to party and party we did!
After the awards we hung out at the Carlu until 11. Then most of us moved on to the official after-party at the Revival. This year we gave the award to our prez for safe keeping. He wasn't going to the after-party so he took it home. It's currently sitting at the reception desk.
(Last year my co-worker broke our award when she started dancing with it and had to bring it in the next day to glue it back together. Whoops!).

Anyway, we all went dancing and lounging until 1ish. That's when I left. The rest of them stayed till about 1:30/2am. I would have liked to have stayed, but my feet were killing me. I love my shoes from italia, but you can't dance in them for more than a couple hours.

This morning, we all dragged ourselves in at 9. Our prez doesn't care if we're all just sitting around the kitchen talking, as long as we're in at 9am the day after a party. My boss didn't come to the awards last night, but I texted her when we won. So this morning, she brought in bagels, muffins, danishes, Simply OJ and fruit for the whole company.

YAY!
