On Monday night I went to the Jays Home Opener with my usual BJ crew (sister, hubby, cousins, etc). What a fabulous game! I know we lost, but the Boys played well - DPs, HRs, SOs.. if Cito didn't bring in Frasor and left in Scottie Downs (which I totally yelled at him for), we would have won.
Because of the game tying HR in the 9th, we had to stay for extra innings. This was our first 'big event' downtown since our move, so we tried to stay till the end. We ended up doing it, but it was hell and half waking up the next morning. Game finished at 11, rode back to work to get the car, drove to Sauga to the GO station to pick up Gary's car, then headed up. All in all, in bed around 12:30am. Then woke up at 6:15-6:30 for work. YIKES.
We both sighed a little sigh when we passed St.Clair after the Game. We were so close!! But I admit, I do love the house now, so I'll put up with circles under my eyes. Afterall, the alternative (not going downtown for events) is NOT AN OPTION! :)
