I'm starting to get excited about the House.
Once we finished the Living/Dining Room and took the tape off the bedroom, I started to get bubbles of excitement. I guess because I can start to see how I can change it to make it 'OURS'. All the pink paint in the place really wasn't doing it for me.
But now - I CAN'T WAIT to put in our furniture and buy stuff to complete the rooms. Especially since the colour choices were so bold, I need to get stuff in there to show people my vision (my mom's reaction to the living room colour yesterday was, 'ai ya! such a dark colour for this space!!'. Have faith, mom!).
As I mentioned before, there was nothing in the house on Friday that I wanted to hug (Gary hugged the laundry appliances and I think he'd have hugged the deck and the garage if he could have).
But now, with the changes.. I want to hug the living/dining room!
And once the kitchen is done, I'll love it. And I had a really great idea for the upstairs bath.. yes, I'm starting to see the possibilities and I'm getting excited.

I'm so glad because I think the place is going to look awesome once we'ver incorporated more of your ideas!
As you start personalizing your new home, you'll one day look back and remember all the hard work you put in customizing your home, such as choosing paint colours, customizing your kitchen, that you can't imagine another home than the one you living in.
