On Saturday, the Boy and I went to see 'National Treasure' at 9:40pm (not bad, but definately not as fun as the first movie). Since the movie would likely not end until close to midnight, I was very surprised to see a couple of kids there! Aged 3 and 5, I think.
Since I tend to watch movies past 9pm, I honestly don't remember the last time I saw kids that age at a theatre. And of course, they sat in our row, a couple of seats down from us. I immediately tried to change seats, but the place was filling up quickly.
The kids talk, ask questions, and one of them wouldn't stop coughing. Why were they there?? Lukily, half way through the movie, the two mothers left with their children. I have absolutely no patience for kids in theatres. It'd be one thing if it were noon, but it's almost midnight!! Keep the noisy critters at home!!
