Holiday Wrap Up

I stole the title of this blog from Much Music, but it's just so fitting.
Here's my recap of the holidays:

1) Party at H&J's. Fun times with lots of chocolaty goodness (Poon always bakes the best desserts) and POP 5 Cranium!! 3 games and girls beat the guys in all of them. We rock!! My favourite humdinger of the night? Sponge Bob Square Pants. hum-hum-HUM-hum!!

2) Christmas Eve - got sick. Major suckage.

3) Woke up early on Christmas Day to open stockings. I got a pretty good load from Santa but I loved seeing my parents face as they opened their stockings. It's true what the Sears commercial says, as you grow older, Christmas is about Giving.

4) We had dinner at the Boys house at 5pm and left around 7. At that time, his family was asking me if my family had even started dinner yet. I guessed they were probably setting the table and would be eating around the time we got there at 8pm. Nope. Our families are such polar opposites. The Boy's family eats soooo early (5pm for Christmas dinner??) and my family eats sooo late. 9:15PM!!

5) Familiar Faces - so good to see Kinski and Necie back for Christmas!! Unfortunately, I only saw Kinski once. I was supposed to hook up again on Boxing Day, but I was sick again and slepted in. Miss her lots! Necie was around a lot longer and we hooked up a couple of times. Lotsa shopping, mixed in with some bubble tea and a Panda Potluk sleep over! So nice to see you both during the holidays!!

6) The Sleepover - Did we actually sleep? I guess we did from 7am - 1pm. I napped for a couple of hours around 5-6, too. Rock band (Love Guitar!), Sushi (not Yangs!), Wings (Cheesy Where's the Beef?), White Santa (I wanted the Poker set), Stockings (Asian Pears!), Jungle Speed (hands off, Hipster A!), and the Last Word (Panda is waay too good!). Fun times all around.

7) New Year's Eve at the Rivoli - the music wasn't too bad when we first got there, but as soon as the ball dropped, we were ushered into 2008 with the strangest beats. Not to my liking and I couldn't stay past 1am. Besides, I was starting to feel sick again. It just won't go away! Funny how everyone at the club was hugging and kissing at midnight and then texting at 12:01!! No wonder the systems crashed and no one could get through.

8) Brunch at the Windsor Arms turned out to be pretty crappy. The food was good, but they had NO selection. I'd choose the King Eddy any day. Or the Pillar and Post New Year's Brunch. Can you believe they had no chocolate fountain? What were they thinking? :)

9) And the final chapter of my Holidays.. sick, sick, ah-choo, and more sickness.
