Today the Boy and I decided to shop on Queen and ended up watching a free movie! Across from the Indigo (which is a great place to pee without having to buy anything) is the NFB. And they play tons of Canadian movies, documentaries, and animated shorts for free!
We decided to stop there to see 'The Danish Poet', which is an animated short that won the Oscar last year. It's quite cute and only 15 minutes long. I highly recommend it. You just walk in and tell them what you plan to see. They give you a code to login at one of the monitors and then you get 2 hours of viewing! Great comfy chairs and big screens = fun times. :)
