The other day we drove down Ave and saw a huge TT scuplture on the side of the road. Big and white, it was definately hard to miss. Immediately, we all exclaimed, 'T&T!' assuming it was an advertisement for the new, big, supermarket chain that's opening up downtown this summer.
Turns out we were wrong. The paper today talked about a campaign for the new Audi TT that was scattered around the city. Ha ha!! The scultpure was for the Audi!! The paper went on to say that they have to remove all the scupltures because people were complaining and because they didn't have park permits to set them up.
So, for a few days, T&T got some free advertisement around the city. I know not everyone would have made that connection, but it's hard not to when someone at T&T saw the opportunity to use these scultpures to advertise for the store, by placing a supermarket shopping cart between the Ts!
No wonder we all automatically assumed T&T! Brilliant.
