Airplane food

Today I purchased two tickets online to HK! Necie, we're coming at the end of Feb and leaving after the the first week of March. Yay!

While buying tickets, I was very amused to see that you can now choose from over 15 different meals! Kosher, Vegetarian, Diabetic, Asian, Indian.. pretty cool.

Anyway, I planned to just go with 2 regular meals. I recalled getting fried rice and instant noodles the last time I went to HK. I liked the meal!

However, I guess I wasn't paying attention, because after I purchased the tickets and saw my printed itinerary, I realised that only The Boy was getting a regular meal. I somehow got the Asian - Vegetarian meal!! Crap on a stick!!! Of all things to get, I end up with a Veggie meal. oh, man!

I tried a few times to change my booking, but they only let you adjust flights. Plus, I kinda feel stupid calling them to fix this. I mean, I still get to go to HK.

Oh well. Necie, you just have to take me to a good Di-Pie-Dong that serves Beef Noodles to make up for this meal. hee hee.

Veggie meal... o boy... I think u'll need more than beef noodles...

BTW are u flying on Cathay? Coz they gave me a real hassle with my ticket and bookings. I'm flying on Air Canada next time if I can help it. =P

I did want to fly Cathay, but realized that they didn't have any direct flights. All flights stop in Ancherage.

I'm going Air Canada - 15hrs direct there and 14hrs back.
