I love flipping through magazines (even more so when I'm getting a pedicure!) and finding great new things to buy. Most of the magazines I pick up from the states, which means I've got to copy/replicate the trend, since most of the stores they list aren't in Canada. Or because it's CHA-CHING.

That's why from time to time, I'll pick up a Lou Lou magazine. It's a Canadian publication, listing Canadian stores, in Canadian prices. Which is why I was super excited to find the perfect black romper from Gentle Fawn for only $65Cdn (V-necked with front zipper and miltary buttons and pockets - Perfect!). I currently own a jacket from Gentle Fawn and I love it! As soon as I got home from my pedi, I logged on to purchase the item (my first clothing purchase online!). Alas.. it's no where to be found. Their site lists it, but all their online retailers don't have the item. Boooo-urns! What a let down.


Now, I'm on the look out! Every summer, there's one item I spend the entire season searching for and never finding. Last year, it was the black thong sandal. A few years before that, it was the brown haviana flip flop. This may be my 'elusive' item this year. I guess I should just be patient. Because I'm sure I'll find it next year. Or at some random sale in late fall.
