These boots were made for walking.. in lots of snow

so, i'm searching high and low for my frickin' boots.

and to no avail - they are just too darn popular. i think if you don't have uggs, you'll have sorels.

anyway, finally found a place that carried the style i wanted. they actually carried my first, second AND third choice. too bad they only them in sizes 10 - 13.

the only thing good that came out of this trip is that the Boy ended up with a nice new pair of boots. he wasn't even really looking. but they had his size in the ones he thought were nice on the site. so he just slipped it on and it's like.. oh my! his current boots (which we bought in the US) are nice, but not that warm. And not this comfortable. they're for dressier occassions. anyway, he loves them and got them. a reward for his patience.

so what about me? well, sorels are so popular that no stores can even get any more deliveries from them. they are just sold out! lukily i found a site that had a size 5 in the style and colour i wanted. apparently, these shoes fit one size big, so i would need either a size 5 or 6, since i'm usually a size 6 or 7. i just wished they had that boot in ANY colour that i could try for sizing. but they were ALL size 10 - 13. Damn.
