Highlights: Part 2

(these are cut and paste from an email I wrote my parents - too lazy to write new recaps. ha!)
More highlights!

-we've been shopping like crazy people. there are still some great sales from chinese new year so we are very excited. it's funny, but most of the stuff we've been buying are just the basics. i think the problem with coming here with nothing in your suitcase is the fact that you immediately need to buy all the basics - which isn't the most exciting shopping we'll be doing. i look forward to next week when we buy funkier stuff. although, i did get a cool super mario shirt i plan to wear to sleep. ha ha.

anyway, we bought most of 'basics' at a new place 'uniglow'. it's like gap - very simple but very cheap. but the quality is very, very good. it's a japanese store and they only have 2 in hk so far. very nice!! gloria was very impressed when she saw we shopped there.

-my cousin heard gary and i had very tired feet so she took us to her foot massage place. um.. PAINFUL. but very nice afterwards. the bottom of my feet are great. but my legs (from ankle to knee) is SO tender. it's like i have bruises up and down my leg. she said it that it was painful because i am 'swollen'. she then elaborated - 'you're not fat. you're just swollen.' ah. great. huh.

anyway, my half hour is almost up and i still have to go and catch the MTR to see aunt amy!! plus i need to get my daily fresh buns for breakfast. Umm... fresh bolo bau!
