There's no snow on the ground and I'm still wearing my light jacket.. but I'm already starting to feel Christmas-y! I bought my first gift on Monday for one of my cousins. But the feeling didn't really hit until I was shopping around Target and saw their Christmas aisle. Then I went a little nuts. Cute penguin table cloths, a Santa oven mitt, cards, wrapping paper, stickers!
And tonight I'm putting up my new Ikea star lights.
Now I'm totally ready for the holiday season. Bring it on!
Except - I don't think I'm good with the Christmas music yet. It must be hard for stores to decide when to start playing holiday music. I think Shoppers has a good idea: Every day starting in November, they add one Christmas song into their daily play list. So by November 30, 30 Christmas songs would have been added to their list. It's a good way to slowly sneak it in. :)
